One of the best affiliate marketing plugins for Gutenberg I’ve ever used. It blows every other block plugin out of the market when it comes to creating engaging content for affiliate and niche sites.

As a blogger and affiliate marketer, I always keep my eye open for new tools and plugins that would help me create better content and generate more revenue for my websites.

A while ago, I discovered one such plugin named Affiliate Booster which is a combination of a theme and plugin designed for people running affiliate blogs.

Needless to say, this caught my interest and I wanted to try it out. I got the chance to use this plugin on a few of my websites and I feel now I can write my thoughts about it.

So, in this Affiliate Booster review, I’ll share my experience using this plugin and what I think about it.

I’ll talk about some of its features, its pros and cons, and its pricing. Ultimately, this Affiliate Booster review will help you decide whether you should put your money on this plugin or not.

That being said, let’s get started.

About Affiliate Booster

Affiliate Booster is a Gutenberg block plugin for affiliates who want to add beautiful conversion-focused blocks to their content.

But they also offer their Affiliate Booster theme which is again made for affiliate blogs and sites.

The founder of Affiliate Booster is Kulwant Nagi, who is one of the top bloggers in India and the man behind BloggingCage.

I’ve known Kulwant for a long time and have even worked with him in the past. I even got the chance to test the plugin in its early development stages.

During my early tests of the plugin, I gave lots of feedback on the plugin which they listened to and actively made changes to the plugin.

After the launch of the plugin, I started using it on most of my blogs replacing the other block plugins on my website.

You’ll understand why as I go through the different features and blocks of the plugin.

But before we do that, I want to let you know that this is the review of only the Affiliate Booster plugin and not the theme.

I didn’t get the time to test the theme yet which is why I’ll not be talking about it much in this review. Once I test the theme, I’ll update my thoughts about it in this article.

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at the features of Affiliate Booster.

Affiliate Booster Features

While it’s just a Gutenberg block plugin, Affiliate Booster has some nifty features that make using the plugin a delightful experience.

Here are some of the notable features of the plugin:

Different Variety of Blocks

I’ve used plenty of Gutenberg block plugins but only a few of them focused on bloggers and specifically affiliate marketers.

Affiliate Booster has got it right when they say they’re a plugin for affiliate marketers because they have lots of blocks for different use cases.

Affiliate Booster Review - Blocks

You can find blocks product review, product comparison, product pros and cons, good bad features, and so much more.

These blocks are a dream come for people who are running affiliate blogs because there aren’t enough plugins that do this.

With these blocks in Affiliate Booster, you can create content for your affiliate sites more easily.

I’ll talk about my favorite blocks in Affiliate Booster later in the article. But for now, here’s a list of all the blocks currently available in this plugin:

  • Notice
  • Pros and Cons
  • Comparison Tabe
  • Top Pic
  • Table of Contents
  • Star Rating
  • Single Product
  • Progress Bar
  • Single Pros and Cons
  • Notification
  • Good Bad Features
  • Conclusion
  • Coupons
  • Call to Action
  • Button
  • List Items

That’s a pretty big list of blocks and it covers pretty much everything an affiliate content blog would need.

Easy To Use

I found Affiliate Booster pretty easy to use as it has user-friendly controls that let you customize any block.

Each block’s setting is laid out very nicely in the editor so you can customize them quickly. Moreover, some of the elements of blocks can be edited straight in the editor easily.

Highly Customizable

The blocks in Affiliate Booster are customizable to a great extent allowing you to match your website’s preferences.

As a designer, customization is something I look for in any plugin I use. So, finding so many customization options in each block improves the user experience a lot.

In each block, you can change the typography, color, spacing, icons, and many other settings.

And the best part of it all is that each block has different customization options based on the type of block.

For instance, if you’re using the Coupons block, you’ll find controls to disable certain elements of the block.

So, for this block, you can disable the rating, title, content, price, etc. This amount of flexibility and control makes each block even more useful than they already are.

You are no longer stuck with whatever the block has to offer. In each block, you can change what you want or do not want to display.

Fully Responsive

The Affiliate Booster plugin is fully responsive and works great on different screen sizes. Each plugin is designed with responsiveness in mind.

You don’t have to put any additional effort into making blocks responsive.

My Favorite Blocks In Affiliate Booster Plugin

Now that you know about the features of Affiliate Blocks, let me talk about some of my favorite blocks in this plugin.

These are the blocks I use regularly in Affiliate Booster and they help me create more engaging content for my blogs.

Comparison Table Block

I love this block as it helps me quickly create a comparison table in Gutenberg without installing any other plugin.

Here’s what this block looks like:

In the comparison block, you can display an image, title, description, and button. Affiliate Booster also lets you choose what columns you want to display on the block.

This block is very useful when you’re writing product reviews and want to compare a product with its alternatives or competitors.

You’ll find this block later in this review when I discuss Affiliate Booster alternatives.

Moreover, this block can also be used on product comparison articles. You can use this block at the beginning of your comparison post to give a quick overview of the comparison.

Key Points Block

Another block that I love is the Key Points block in Affiliate Booster. You can use this block to summarize the information in your post.

I have started using this block on my review articles to give a quick summary of the tool or product I’m reviewing.

You must have noticed this block right at the beginning of this review. While I simplified the block by only displaying minimal information.

Affiliate Booster - Key Points Block

But the block lets you display a star rating, title, key points, button, and a description. Plus, it’s highly customizable allowing you to change its appearance according to your website’s design.

Coupons Block

Want to display a coupon box in your articles? This is the best block I’ve ever used to display coupons.

Before using Affiliate Booster, I either had to design a block myself from scratch or rely on other blocks with a similar design.

But the coupons block in Affiliate Booster nails it as it has the perfect design and content elements.

You can display a title, star rating, image, content, and pricing in this block.

Conclusion Block

As the name suggests, you can use this block to conclude your product reviews and articles. Here’s an example of how I use this block on my product reviews:

You’ll come across this same block at the end of this review article as well. This is a very common block and can be found in many Gutenberg plugins.

But again, I love the flexibility that comes with this block. You can choose what elements to display in your block.

You can display a title, conclusion title, summary, star rating, features list, and button.

Top Pick Block

This block is perfect to highlight a product in your content and drive more sales to it. I haven’t used this block yet on RankHox but I use it regularly on my Amazon affiliate sites.

Here’s an example of this block on my iPad drawing accessories article:

Affiliate Booster - Top Pick Block

It’s perfect for displaying a product and its information in a digestible manner. In this block, you can display a title, content, image, and sub-title.

But that’s not it. You can display up to 3 buttons in this block.

This is useful when you want to direct users to different websites for purchase. For instance, if you’re reviewing a product and want to insert a link to Amazon, Walmart, and any other website, you can do it with this block.

Pros and Cons Block

While I don’t use this block quite extensively, I still find it very useful for affiliate content blogs.

With this block, you can beautifully showcase the pros and cons of any product in your article. The block is highly customizable allowing you to change the icons of the pros and cons, along with the colors of the text, icons, headings, and more.

Affiliate Booster - Pros & Cons Block

I see this block design used on so many affiliate blocks and having this in Affiliate Booster means you can also use it in your content.

Single Pros and Cons Block

If the pros and cons block is a bit too basic for you, then this block is another option to use. Here’s what this block looks like:

Affiliate Booster - Single Pros & Cons Block

With this block, you can display an image alongside the pros and cons of the product. Moreover, you can also add a description below of the pros and cons.

This block can also be used to summarize your product reviews.

Product Table Block

This is similar to the comparison table block but a bit more advanced. Affiliate Booster comes with three different Product Table blocks with different designs.

Affiliate Booster - Product Table Block

In this block, you can compare products in a more sophisticated manner. You can display a product image, title, description, star rating, button, and more.

All three blocks are highly customizable and let you choose what content element to display in the block.

Affiliate Booster Pricing

Let’s talk about the pricing of Affiliate Booster now. Here are the pricing plans of the Affiliate Booster plugin:

Affiliate Booster - Pricing

The plugin costs $29.5 annually for a single site license. It also comes with a 25-site and 50-site license that cost $36.75/year and $44.25/year respectively

Besides these, if you want to use both the Affiliate Booster plugin and the theme, then the pricing is as follows:

Affiliate Booster - Plugin & Theme Pricing

The plugin and theme cost $36.75 annually for a single site license. The 25-site plan costs $51.75 annually whereas the 50-site plan costs $74.25 annually. Unfortunately, there is no lifetime plan available yet.

Affiliate Booster plugin also comes with a free plan that includes 7 Gutenberg blocks. The free plan is a good starting point if you want to test out the plugin.

But if you’re serious about taking your affiliate blog to the next level, then I highly recommend the single site license as it comes with all the features you’d need.

Affiliate Booster Pros & Cons

Now, I’d like to talk about some of the pros and cons of Affiliate Booster. These pros and cons are based on my extensive use of the plugin. Some of these could be my personal preferences while others are general opinions of the users.

What I Like About Affiliate Booster

  • They offer a nice variety of actually useful blocks
  • The blocks are highly customizable and offer wide flexibility
  • Very easy to use and user-friendly experience
  • They’re very much open to feedback and are making good changes regularly
  • The pricing is very affordable for affiliate marketers and bloggers
  • The free version is good for beginners
  • Blocks can be enabled or disabled from the plugin settings

What I Don’t Like About Affiliate Booster

  • Some of the blocks can have more design & customization options
  • There are three blocks of the Product Table. I wish they combine it into a single block and have the option to switch between the three styles
  • There’s no FAQ block in this plugin. I hope they add it in the future.
  • No lifetime plan is available

Affiliate Booster Alternatives & Competitors

How does Affiliate Booster compare against its competitors? Well, to be fair, there aren’t enough Gutenberg block plugins solely for affiliate marketers.

But there are some popular block plugins that can be considered as alternatives to Affiliate Booster. I’ve used all of these alternatives so I feel it’s good to discuss how Affiliate Booster fares against these plugins.

Ultimate Blocks

Ultimate Blocks is a Gutenberg block plugin developed by Istiak Rayhan who is a good friend of mine.

This plugin is designed for bloggers as it comes with lots of content elements. It’s a very good plugin for bloggers as it’s completely free.

But it doesn’t have blocks for affiliate content such as product comparison, product table, etc.

So, I’d say Affiliate Booster wins against Ultimate Blocks if we compare them solely for use on an affiliate content site.

Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg

Developed by Brainstorm Force, the folks behind the popular Astra theme, this plugin comes with a lot of blocks.

But again, the blocks are suited for general content sites and there aren’t a lot of blocks that could be used for affiliate content sites.

I still use this plugin and I like it a lot. But the more I use Affiliate Booster, the more I am slowly phasing this plugin out of my blogs.

Stackable Blocks

Stackable Blocks is an awesome Gutenberg blocks plugin but it’s helpful for designing beautiful pages.

It doesn’t have a lot of blocks that would be useful for blog content. Besides, they even market themselves as a plugin to help you design beautiful websites.

So, Affiliate Booster wins again here because you can’t really use Stackable Blocks as an alternative to this plugin.

Affiliate Booster FAQ

Final Verdict

I see Affiliate Booster as the best solution for bloggers running affiliate sites. The blocks available in this plugin are perfect for creating more engaging content.

The best part about this plugin is that it offers a huge variety of blocks that can be used in your content. Not to mention the flexibility and customization options that come with this plugin that can help you take your content to the next level.

Affiliate Booster is also very affordable and I find the pricing to be very reasonable for the value it offers.

I highly recommend this plugin to anyone who runs an affiliate blog and wants to generate more sales and commissions from the products you’re promoting.
